Finally finished! It’s a great read and a fantastic ending to the series. I was satisfied with everyone’s ending and felt that it did each character justice.

Absolutely devastated at the fact that this is the end of the vibrant Daevabad world that I have come to adore so much.

I don’t usually read novellas or additional books to a series that are not necessary, but it seems very likely that I will get my hands on The River of Silver - it is only right that such a rich fantasy world deserves an enriching experience to its fullest degree.

There have been sentences and paragraphs along the way where I thought it not necessary to repeat or mention things that the reader already knows or suspects but it wasn’t a big concern and I didn’t mind that too much. The positives outweigh this point.

Very glad to finally see Nahri with Suleiman’s seal, and the scene with extracting it from Ali’s heart was filled with tension. Jamshid and Ali’s interactions in Ta Ntry
