Love Bill Nye, but sometimes this book felt like a long rant.

A good view on science, it's place in society, and our responsibilities in response to science. Peppered with personal stories and antidotes which makes it more conversational than most books on the same topic.

And then we got to the part when he assumes all Christians are passive idiots waiting to be rescued by magic and he lost a star.

I really enjoyed Bill's last two books, which introduced a lot of cool technology and ideas there are out there for helping our world through the climate crisis. But this one was more of about the mental toolkit people would need in order to think critically and not be as easily subject to false claims. He also includes a lot of memoir type information about himself and his family. It was a good and fun to read, but I didn't enjoy it as much as the previous books. It seemed that a lot of the ideas were recycled, which is understandable since he is really trying to get some points across, but it still seemed a bit redundant.

Fun and informative. Somewhere between memoir and self help.
