Fun, well illustrated, but a little short and not really a story but more like a list.
Spider sandwiches definitely isn't my favourite baby book but it is colourful and I'm sure most children will like the fun aspect of the yucky mucky food that Max the monster eats.
However, as I mentioned there really isn't all that many words in the book and it does read a bit like a list. I do prefer a good story and this one just doesn't compare to the many great children's books out there.
To sum, good and fun but not great.
