This is easiest to read by dipping into it a little at a time because it is literally fizzing with so many ideas and new approaches to writing that reading too much at any time becomes almost too dense and hard to wade through. But it’s a glorious, brilliant book full of extraordinary new ways of writing and ideas... there’s probably a more accessible book of how to utilise Oulipo (and, for my own interests, Oubapo as well, although this is touched on) to be written, but rightly you need to work through the pioneers first and this is a witty, thoughtful and boundlessly enthusiastic collection of those. I’m already on the lookout for many of the books cited in here but for now this is a very good introduction
