This book is amazing! It is incredibly well written. The emotions of the two main characters are palpable throughout the book. They are incredibly real and my heart hurt for them as I read. Both Quinn and Cora are dealing with loss from a school shooting that happened almost a year ago. Cora, because her sister was killed, and Quinn because her brother was the shooter. They had been best friends, but the shooting tore them apart. Through their quest to travel back in time and change the course of that day they both begin to heal and come back to each other.

- So much authentic representation!
- Amazing characters and character development
- Touches on heavy topics in a way that middle schoolers can understand (grief, regret, school shooting)
- alternating point of view
- Mrs. Euclid is an angel, the only person in Quinn's life who is trying to help her cope with her feelings of guilt and loss
Graphic: Death and Grief
Moderate: Gun violence, Mass/school shootings, Islamophobia, and Hate crime
