This is a cute book...in a "monsters are adorable" kind of way! Young Finney's ancestors have all met horribly bizarre deaths, and Fin obsesses about his own demise. My Dead Girlfriend features monster cliques in Fin's monster high, familial ghosts with "spirit", and a story of unrequited love.
