I liked this book, but did find it hard to follow at times with all the jumping around.

It felt like I was reading about a strange dream with so many different twists and turns. Funny at times. Don't think I could read more of this though.

This series has been loosely on my radar for years, but if I had known what a delight it was a I would have started 20 years sooner. Pratchett’s style is reminiscent of the great Douglas Adams, and I am here for it. This book was a joy from cover to cover and there are so many things set up here that I am on the edge of my seat to discover how they play out. Not only did I find the book hilarious throughout but also was delighted by the prose and the turns of the story. I am very excited about continuing.

In a word: fantastic!
In many words: This book was incredible! The characters, plot, and writing style were all wonderful. The pleasantly over-exajerated characters result in many comical situations. The word choice is lovely, and the book as a whole is a very enjoyable read. It's the sort of world you can melt into, and I can't wait to return!

Clever writing and fun characters, but I had trouble getting into it. I'm not sure why.
