Really enjoyed this book! The authors really made a fun world in which normies have to deal with actual people who happen to be recognizable from fantasies, and the clash is fascinating. The conflict is mostly external. I did ship two of the characters, and I do find myself hoping there’s a sequel with the same platoon so I can enjoy more adventures.
