Went in with no expectations and was delightfully surprised by the range in these short stories. Hard to choose a favourite; light without being slight. Quickly devoured.

A delightful collection of short stories set in Beijing, mostly set around the time of the 2008 Olympics. The Olympics brought change and modernization to the city, affecting how many Chinese saw themselves.

This book wasn't bad, I actually enjoyed the first two stories a lot. However it started to go down from there and then I just found more interesting things to read.
