I was not enjoying this book too much until I took a step back and really thought about it. It perfectly encompassed a lot of the aspects that come with being a newly out queer person. The desire to make your whole life about your new found identity and your want to be accepted and loved.

Your first relationship when you’re newly out can be so intense and all consuming that you ignore all red flags and see only what you want to see. This book showed that and also showed how hard it can be
to leave an abusive relationship and start to see it for what it is. It showed that sometimes you have to hit rock bottom before you can truly start living. The main character found herself in way over her head and so uncomfortable but so afraid to walk away.

I loved how real and raw this book was. I loved how it didn’t shy away from anything: good, bad, or ugly. This book only took me a few days to finish and it was definitely a roller coaster ride from beginning to end.

Really not sure what this was supposed to be at all.
I heard it was funny....yes, in parts.
Characters that seemed very stereotypical. Some dark, weird abusive 50 shades of grey, but with lesbians.
I gave it three because I enjoyed it, it was entertaining. But in the way you enjoy a terrible episode of a trashy Tv show.

I wasn’t sure what I was getting into, I expected a lighthearted read and I was left feeling less than humoured!!!
