A book about redemption and unlikely love. The characters were well developed. The plot was good but the unnecessary depth of descriptions of the little things that did not help to bring you into the story was to much. They weren't needed to get the point across and bring you into the story. Infact it kind of took you out of it by so much detailed description. Otherwise it was a good story with some happiness and so sadness.

I always enjoyed reading her columns and had no idea she wrote books. It was enjoyable.

This book was just alright for me, I felt like I had to force myself to read and it took me two months. It was a little hard for me with the flashbacks being embedded through the story, got me confused.

Abandoned infant raised by estate caretaker and elderly woman. Extremely descriptive. Beautifully worded. Written by the national columnist.

This isn't exactly a book I would recommend to others but I didn't mind finishing it.
