I really enjoyed this book! It managed to keep me guessing and engaged. I didn't see a couple of the twists coming, but they also weren't just in there to shock me (I did catch on to some things well in advance, but that just made me feel clever for guessing them, it wasn't a detriment). It managed to land the ending too, which I thought was very impressive.

the concept, the theme, the world building, the plot, everything is just SO ENTERTAINING! trigger warning: not for those who can't handle blood/gore/violence. i was so engrossed from the beginning until the end and the plot twists were unexpected and defeated any disappointments :)

Read it super fast and loved the narrative, in the beginning we were quite in the dark but the plot unravels as you read.

3.5 stars.

This had such a strong start but then went downhill. I liked the characters and discussions on morality. The plot twists were mediocre and the writing was decent. I recommend this book and will definitely read more by this author. :)
