"There are three sailors left on board. They are all called Sergei. There is enough canned food on board to last them, they have calculated, for up to five years. They've been there for three years."
There is something about the blurring and blending of the Sergeis that makes this 27 page short story somewhat fascinating - even though nothing actually happens! The idea of being stuck aboard a ship with three people, all with the same name, with similar lives shared, to the point that they are potentially one and the same was well written. It could have been a mess, but it wasn't. If anything, I was disappointed it didn't continue!
Alas, this issue with the short story!

It was an interesting little read, although I felt like I should have read it earlier in the day, when I would have had the mental capacity to get more from it - I reel like it's a story you have to work at to get the most from.
