The collection is complete. Including Holme's greatest endeavour "The Hound of the Baskervilles" and his final adventures in "His Last Bow" this book contains some of the finest detective fiction ever written. I think we can all be inspired by Holme's logical, methodical way of thinking and his generally kind heart, despite his somewhat eccentric nature.
This collection includes novels and short stories organised by date of publication. Though, for the best emotional impact I might have preferred a more chronological order. However, the reader can choose to read through the whole thing, or just pick out individual stories, whichever takes their fancy.
As a word of caution, these books were written in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and have been published as is in this collection. As a result contain the stereotypes and language of the time, some of which may not be acceptable in the modern day.

I have nothing of value to say, save that I love the Sherlock Holmes stories with all of my heart. Thank you for them, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

It is strange, but sometimes after I read Sherlock Holmes, I find my powers of observation slightly increased! I loved reading all of the tales of Holmes, and his wonderful friend and confidante, Watson, but these books are quite large, and I had to take breaks whilst reading them!
