Enjoyable handful of connected vignettes about the monotony of various, oddly specific, jobs. I was hoping this would have a bit more of a hint of the show Severance, but that isn't the tone. Don’t go into this expecting much to happen, but you might enjoy it if you like a light-hearted read.

The title and the content of the book was kind of different. While I finished the book, it wasn’t exactly my style of book. At some points, it was quite interesting while at others, not so

It's about a 36 years old woman, who had a burnout at her job and is now (with help from a social worker) in search of a new one. She changes several jobs and talks about them and the unusual and unexpected things going on there.
It's an odd book but I found it entertaining. :)

I like the message behind this one. But the character's privilege of being able to land all these jobs is something i personally don't have. Experiencing burnout is something i struggle a lot with that's why I make sure to take a breather (weekends away, solo picnics) whenever possible. I can't just quit this job but i can't let it consume me because at the end of the day it's JUST a job i can't let it take over my free time as well.
