2nd Emily Carroll I've read and I'm already in deep! the story itself is both horrifying and heartbreaking all at once; but I'm struck by how, in 12 pages, Carroll manages to construct an entirely believable world without leaving the confines of the same forest clearing. Each page is so dynamic, its truly something!

The first Emily Carroll comic I've read. I was completely suckered in by the art style which reminded me of the old school illustrations you would see with classic fairytales.

Wow! I read this totally out of the blue and had absolutely no idea what it was about and I was blown away. The art was great and the storytelling was honestly phenomenal. That last page though, oh damn, it got me and it's stuck with me for days. This was a very short but utterly fantastic horror read and I can't wait to read more from Emily Carroll.

Beautiful little horror fairy-tale. Short and (decay-like) sweet
