I love this adaptation - some stuff obviously left out for story purposes but I enjoy seeing Rick’s world visualized in this manner.

The art style was a lot better than the Lost Hero, but I'm still pissed cause whoever drew this did Nico so dirty. I mean as a religious Di Angelo stan, I took that personally, (like what happened to that haircut!)

Anyway, I still loved having Percy back, and I genuinely feel like I'm biased towards any book with Percy, but that's normal so it's okay.

Ps. Something I find funny: I remember reading the graphic novel, the lost hero, and when I came upon the ending cliffhanger I remembered being so surprised (even though I've literally read the books) and I sat there gawking for a hot minute, and then I was just like 'anyway' and took out the next book and just started reading.

3.5/5 Yall should read it. :)

The art has improved since "The Lost Hero" however it's still not good. Whoever decided that Nico looked like that should be fired. Also, Percy doesn't look like Percy. But it was still an improvement. I do hate how they always take an important part of the story out.

This is definitely a solid adaptation, keeping a lot of the humour and the plot points while cutting a bit here and there for fluidity. I have to do a series reread this summer, now, this got me MAD in the mood for it, especially with how well these were done. A strong finish to a set that I believe has been discontinued, the art is great and there's enough of the story done here for it to make sense and hit the major points.

4 stars cause they made Annabeth super ugly, and I can't get behind that
