The Bourne Supremacy by Robert Ludlum

Ostatecznie odjęłabym kilka wydarzeń i skróciła książkę minimum o pięćdziesiąt stron. Mimo tego, sięgnę po kolejną część, ponieważ niesamowicie intryguje mnie historia, jakże odmienna od filmowej adaptacji.
3,5/5.

Not a bad sequel. Pretty interesting read, although there is a bit of over-the-top "drama" that I'm not a huge fan of.

This book had more language and other stuff than did "The Bourne Identity." Also, the plot was slower, and the ending anti-climactic. I wouldn't recommend unless you're a big fan and don't mind the content.

I found myself drifting off into the land of daydreams while listening to this one. No not about Bourne but about things that had nothing to do with anything. To put it another way the first 1/2-3/4 of this book I found very boring. Sure there was a few parts that would get my attention but in all it just took too long for things to start REALLY happening. The end was kind of cool but then I was surprised when the end wasn't the end and we went on to another ending.

There was quite a bit of the "F" word in this one. I can pass by a couple times but it was used a bit too frequently for my taste.

I also found some of the plot from Identity repeated surrounding Marie such as the near rape. Once in the first book was too much for me. Come on Ludlum can't you come up with a different situation!?

This was a book I actually read *before* the movie came out and this is where the books and the movies really really diverged. I really enjoy the series because there it's thrilling both in the "are they going to make it" and the political scheming aspects.

Another good read from Robert Ludlum. His writing style is sometimes a bit hard to keep reading through, but the story is worth it. Just like the first book in this series, The Bourne Identity, this book does not remotely resemble the movie.

I am throughly enjoying this series this novel however did not draw me in the way the first one did. I picked this up as soon as I had finished the first one and they flowed together nicely. I found a few parts tedious, a few wonderful, I had an unreasonable book crush on the British commando (who looked something like Tom hardy or Vinnie Jones in my head - all those bad boy British actors) can't wait to read the third instalment!
