I am happy I read this Novella because I really needed more closure on Mare and Cal's storyline. Still have ideas for other things i really wanted to see but definitely a better ending then War Storm in my opinion.

Overall a slow moving novella. For only 100 pages it seemed to drag on forever during the politics. While Mare and Cal do need to learn to communicate, it is a stark reminder of just how young they really are. They've gone through so much during the series and seeing the breakdown in communication here definitely shows their age. Overall ties a bow on the story of the Red Queen series.

The politics were sooo sluggish. Mare and Cal need to work on their communication skills. Evangeline is amazing as ever though.
