I liked it but I didn’t love it. The characters fell a little flat for me. Chloe and her list seemed like the grown up version of Quinn’s journal entries in “excuse me while I ugly cry”. Except Quinn actually grew/developed, Chloe just seemed to exist. Either way this was cute

Chloe suffers from fibromyalgia and when people close to her started leaving her because they couldn't deal with her chronic pain, she put her life on track to deal with the pain and schedules became her thing. Thankfully she has a wonderful family who won't leave her alone. When Chloe moves out of her family home, her new place is in a building managed by Redford, and the two never get along. Until Chloe decides to ask Redford's help in fulfilling her list of "reckless" things. The two spends more time together and they need to overcome their traumas to find their happily ever after.

I thought this was a really cute story. Both main characters have issues that we don't see talk about broadly in real life, so I'm happy to be able to read about them in the book. Chloe has a disability not visible to the eye and Redford came out from an abusive relationship. The two of them are really cute together with their banter. The only thing that didn't convince me about this book is that I couldn't feel the chemistry between them, and I wasn't able to be pulled into the story.

This book has the cutest cover which will make you think it is a CUTE YA ROMCOM that is the biggest rep for fibromyalgia and anxiety but no it’s not YA, and I wouldn’t even call it cute. You know something is so too sweet that you hate it? It didn’t feel natural. Now add all the cringe choice of words and intimate scenes. *vomits*
It started off giving an enemies to lovers vibe but the entire focus was on the physical attraction between the two main characters and there was not much else to the story…
