Palace of Lies was such a fun book, and a lovely ending to the Palace Chronicles Triology. I loved getting to learn more about Desmia and see her grow as a person as she learns more about the world outside the castle. The ending was especially fun, as I had no idea what was going to happen next! My only wish is that the Palace Chronicles had been a longer series. I love the characters and think it would have been fun to have more books about the lives of all the different princesses.

I don't even know where to begin with this review but, I think, of all 3 books of The Palace Chronicles, this one was my favorite.

It starts with a bang, the action slows a bit not too long after but there is always something happening either actual action or event or a shock value which were all very well done.

I was left guessing for most of the book, up 'til the end and I love when that happens all the time.

This book was interesting. I found it kept my attention most of the time. I thought it was very good in building the world more, and the character development was very nice. I feel like the whole story has been told and flushed out. However, I would have liked more resolution. There was so much rebuilding to do, I would have liked to have heard their plan at the very least. I suppose that might have been viewed as boring, so maybe that's why it wasn't included. All in all, it wasn't a bad book, and the series as a whole is better than I originally thought it would be.

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!! I meet Mrs Haddix at a book signing yesterday for this book, got home to start reading, and didn't put it down until I had finished the book! I was very surprised by the end, but loved it! A must-read!

I enjoyed reading of this trilogy. I liked that in the first book we got to see what really happened with Ella and that it really was no fairy tale. In the second book, the story takes on a whole new cast of characters and we get to see how their story plays out. In this final novel, Princess Desmia is our main character and we see the aftermath of both Ella and the Thirteen Princesses' stories. Desmia isn't the most likable character at first, but she does get better as the story goes on. I wasn't really sure what to expect from this book, but I liked seeing how everything came together and the epilogue was very sweet. Not a new favorite for me, but an enjoyable read nonetheless.

Happy Reading my Friends.

This is the last book in The Palace Chronicles and it was so good! It again switches perspectives from the first two books, but this perspective connects the two original story lines. I loved this book and felt like it was very good conclusion to the series. I also loved seeing a protagonist grow and struggle so much simultaneously. I can't express how much I highly recommend and love this whole series. The love stories are also cliche, but never the less I fell in love with each couple.

This was really good but I felt the ending was a little rushed.
