Okay, I think Rebecca’s military books may be a new trope obsession for me. I loved the last letter and this one was just as good. The heartbreak, the joy, the laughter, the spice, the more heartbreak, and the happily ever after fed my soul. It was so good. I loved Ember and Josh. I loved the ending. And I almost want to skip to the last book of the series to see the next part of them! So so so good.

Rebecca’s writing style sucked in me in right from the first line of the book. It’s grippingly emotional, sweet, funny and sexy. I’ve read a lot of new adult books over the past few years since the genre has gained popularity, and I can easily say that this is hands down the best new adult book that I have ever read. I loved that this book delved deeper than sex and sexual attraction. It actually went very deep with each character’s feelings and that isn’t something that you find in every run of the mill new adult book these days. I really enjoyed watching Ember and Josh’s relationship develop. I was nice to read something that wasn’t just implied or be a witness to insta-love. I loved that Josh was a possessive alpha male, but knew that Ember needed and wanted to be her own woman. I loved that Ember was very strong and took care of everybody in her life and that she wasn't looking for a man to help her through her grief. It’s really hard to believe that this book was Rebecca’s debut because she hit every single part of this book right out of the park; from the feels to the secrets to the sex scenes. This book was just total perfection and I can’t wait to read the next two books in this series and anything else Rebecca writes. I’m definitely a fan for life!

this was extremely bland and there was such an insta-love feel that made it so much worse. there was nothing special.
