There's two things I can always count on in this world: that an emily henry book is going to hit and that my friend and I will find the PERFECT casting for an emily henry man 😍

I absolutely loved this book! I wasn’t a fan of her previous book, Happy Place, but Funny Story was fabulous!

not my favorite:(

this way more cliche than any of emily henry’s other books (which i didn’t love because it’s not what i expect when i read them)

-moved a lot faster / more instalovey
-not as much pining or tension than her other books and those aren’t even fake dating
-idk the dialogue / storyline wasn’t hitting for me but the last third of the book made me like it a little more
