Loved the idea, hated the execution. The author has the most annoying snobby, patronising way of addressing the reader which got on my nerves a lot. Also, apparently all modern urban men enjoy chopping wood? Men, please confirm.

This is a lovely gentle book. Some of the small pleasures i couldn't relate to but most of them were good.
