When belief defines reality.
I thought I would like it very much, because of the depiction of mental illness. And it indeed was fascinating in the beginning. Outlandish with a certain bizarre pull. The characters were hideous, their actions and motivations were revolting. The world and its logic was appalling. It was so twisted and disgusting, but in a way that made your eyes glued to it. But then it quickly got boring. There were too much of revulsion, too much patheticness, that it lost its pull. The story just went in circles. The characters indulged in repeated self destruction, being all tragic and went around in their sociopathic pattern. Predictably lot of things didn’t make sense, even in a twisted reality kind of sense. Entertaining enough in its own unique way.

I couldn’t finish this book. I found the theme of the book to be amazing but the way it was written to be awful. Would probably be more fun to read with a paper version as it’s easier to check the glossary.
