This book is a MASTERPIECE. I found this book by chance and I’m glad I bought it. First of all, I travelled all along Gus and Tess in this book and it was a pleasure to discover Italy through Kate Eberlen’s descriptive words.

Good. Sequel to Miss You. Loved returning to the characters as you got to go further into their story. Even though at times I felt like this was a sequel that wasn't needed as it felt like filler and mundane but in a way this is the beauty of the book as it shows what happens after a whirlwind romance when the shine goes off. Also I got the feeling towards the end that it was also a bit autobiographical.

I always wonder why books have to end when the couple get together, I’d love an extra chapter but this book has shown me why. Regular life and relationships are quite dull, I wasn’t especially gripped by this - I didn’t realise it was a sequel so that might have impacted how I felt when reading but I didn’t connect to any of the characters. It was well written, but not one I overly enjoyed
