thank you, alice oseman, for your recommendations!
i loved the art of this. lgbtq+ characters. (mixed) fae people! nature! the story is very cute, if only the groundwork in this first volume. portrays themes of mental health (anxiety, panic attacks, possible abusive past relationship) quite carefully (has trigger warnings right before the scenes)

the drawing style is gorgeous!!!! i found the setting very beautiful and i think i just wish it had been longer. the characters were interesting but not especially engaging for me, i just wish i had gotten into the story quicker. i am not a big graphic novel reader, so i'm still trying to find what works best for me.

This is an ongoing webcomic on Tapas, and it is one of the most beautiful graphic novels I’ve ever read. The slow burn romance is just wow. The art style is stunning. The protagonists, Chepi and Janek, are wonderfully developed.

I REALLY enjoyed this; the friendship between Chepi and Janek and the mix of memories and present. The colors and graphics are BEAUTIFUL, and the world is intriguing. It's just, my only wish is that the letters and ~handwriting~ were legible. It was so hard to read them, and I still missed important details. But I can't wait for more of it!

This is an incredibly charming slow-burn Achillean cosy fantasy romance following two men who were strangers but decide to travel together. I'd describe it as soft and warm although there are some darker themes explored through flashbacks. The artwork is stunning and really gets the character's emotions across well. I love the world building elements that we get to see - this is one of those fantasies where there isn't much explanation of the wider world on page but details hint at a more complex society around our characters. The structure is a little odd to my tastes, with a series of sequential vignettes, but it also works quite well to dip into in spare minutes (I read this on a comics app). It was so lovely to re-visit this and now can't wait to read to the end now it is complete.

Beautiful art, I love the atmosphere of this comic and the attention paid to backgrounds and scenery. Beautifully written, I love Chepi and Janek's interactions and their development as characters.
