Wow just Wow
That was an amazing ending to the series. Something exciting kept happening every chapter and I was soo enthralled by what was happening that I lost track of time! The storyline was beautiful. I loved the characters & I might have even shed some tears a bit. Im so proud of Emberly & Steel & how they’ve grown!
Julie is such a brilliant author and I can’t wait to read what she writes next!!

ah, I was so excited to see how this trilogy would conclude. unfortunately this was my least favorite. in most of the book I felt that the story didn't advance at all and then suddenly in the last chapters everything happens so abruptly. also there were things that seemed unnecessary to me and therefore at times it became tedious to continue reading.
though I'm not totally satisfied with the ending, overall I can say that it was a good trilogy, the first two books are quite fantastic with great likeable characters and a story to pass a good time.

In this stunning conclusion, Emberly finally finds out where she comes from. Her father is formidable and intriguing. Plus she even has a cousin and great grandfather she never knew about!
Most of this book is action packed and I loved it. You never really know where the story is headed and there are many moments when I thought evil would triumph.
The ending is quite bittersweet, but reminiscent of how life after war would be.

I loved this series and didn’t want it to end! A great conclusion and I want more! I need to know how things turn out for certain characters, although I have theories. I enjoyed the exciting story, unexpected twists and turns, laugh out loud humor, and pretty much everything!
