So I reserved Paper girls at my local library but what I didn't realise is that the library has book one and two listed as the same book?? So in other words I haven't read the first book but I will! Even though I haven't read the first I understand most of it, some parts i was slightly confused but I imagine it was explained in the first. What I loved most about Paper Girls was the art, especially the colours!! They were amazing and I loved the composition of every page. And the illustrations were quite good as well, not breathtaking, but still good. However, I thought that the dialogue was slightly mediocre, it was fine, but nothing amazing. The plot while cliche at times, was still fun and I was engaged the whole way through. I might have been more invested in the story and characters if I had read the first. So overall I recommend Paper girls, it was fun.

Bullet Review:
Most of this volume, I was wondering how all the pieces fit into place. But at the end, I was just whisked away in 80's nostalgia.
So yeah, it's flawed, but the art is great, the characters are interesting, and I'm interested in figuring out what happens next.
