I honestly feel like this novella wasn't needed. Nothing new was gained from it. We learn all of this information in the two books from the series. Also, I'm a little confused, Lucas says he's drawn to Sienna because she's compliant with everyone but him. That was no where in this novella. She basically gave in to anything he said. So I found that a little weird. But, eh, this was free and I had just finished the series so I thought I would give it a shot.

It was great to see the whole situation that happened between those two to make her hate him so much.

This is the prequel to Devoured... The story of how Lucas and Sienna first meet on the set of his music video. It really sets the tone for the magnetic attraction between these two characters. I'm also excited to find out this author is from Southwest VA! :)

The prequel was better than the actual book. Not sure that's saying much given how little I liked the book.

Too distracted and too tired to write a review but now #1 makes more sense...

I'm glad we were given this backstory. I feel better knowing there were a lot of things going on that night than him reacting badly because she said no. I *LOVE* that she wouldn't do the handcuffs after he sprung it on her like that. I also liked that he tried to apologize.

This was a very enjoyable read and had me wanting more as soon as I finished it. I couldn't get into the story to start with as there was parts that annoyed me. I could definitely feel the chemistry between Lucas and Sienna but I would have liked to have seen more of a romance but I'm sure that will come in the next book. This is my first time reading about a rock star as one of the main characters and it was a refreshing change to the clean cut male characters that I have read about and I can't wait to find more books with rock stars with their rock and roll live styles. I didn't like the way it ended but that's just because nothing got cleared up but I know this is just the set up for the actual series.

Lucas had his annoying moments but for the most part I liked his character even if he is used to getting his own way and not liking it when he doesn't. I can't wait to see his character progress in the next book with hopefully a softer side. Sienna had a more difficult time but she did seem like she will be another great female role. There was a part towards the end when I didn't really understand why she did what she did but I am hoping that will get cleared up in Devoured.

Overall this was a nice quick set up read for what I am hoping will be a great series.

I'm not really a fan of short stories but this was a good prequel of Devoured
