This was terrible. Good story, but lord, it read like she was rushing through filling in the outline with one eye closed. She needs to pay attention to her pronoun matching!

in the make believe country of eisengau, brian donovan is investigating powerful new cannons, as are representatives from many other countries. meredith is being forced into an unwanted marriage by her parents who are desperate for higher status, while trying to save the cannon's factory workers from brutal working conditions by stealing the plans for these cannons. she gets double crossed and turns to brian.

trade paperback is 284 pages, not 384.
