Interesting information!!! Not too impressed with the narrator characters, they were a bit corny. But very good timeline of the wild mustang.

I don’t understand what the weird creatures that moved the story along were supposed to be. Normally, the books in this series explain what the narrators have to do with the information. These two just seemed random. Some of the information was interesting, but overall it wasn’t my favorite book in this series.

This was a really interesting history graphic that covered the Wild West mythos, Native American history, colonization, and more. It is written in the narrative framework of having a couple of characters narrate the events of the story and provide context, which works pretty well. This one was also divided into chapters, which made stopping and starting really nice! A good option for upper elementary and middle school and up graphic nonfiction--readers will learn a lot!

Interesting read on history of mustangs with slightly annoying narrators - but will likely work for the intended audience.

Love the detailed illustrations but this was a real snoozer for me. Too much text about horse history minutea and a couple of bizarre "narrator" characters. They were annoying and made no sense to me in this story.

A good dive into the surprisingly complicated history of horses in North America. The art is excellent, with decent flow between panels, dialog, and graphics. I'm excited to read more in this new series, as I already love the Science Comics series!
