It's like staring into nothing the whole day and right before dusk, something happens, then it ends.

I love Penelope Ward
Wow! What a great whole hearted book! I adored their relationships. They were so mature about how things were handled and they just fit together. And don’t even get me started on little Sunny! I love love loved imagining Sunny and all her Baby glory. Honestly even with the rollercoaster that this relationship was, it’s exactly what most everyone wants. Truly a happy ending and a great light read.

If there is an author that I can trust to give me amazing characters every single time, it is Penelope Ward.
Right from the first chapter we jump straight into the characters and we just have to learn about them as we go along (I like authors that don't spell everything out, your readers are not dumb. I want to figure somethings out as I read). We follow Carys who is a single mother living with are daughter sunny in a small apartment, she has a very noisy neighbor who does nothing to hide that he is have board against wall banging sex all the time.
But this time, Cary is not having it anymore and the next time she sees her sexy neighbor, Deacon, she tells him off.
As you can expect with romance books, they get together and soon we learn more about him and why he is always in his apartment. I think one of my favorite part of this book was when he was babysitting sunny and we slowly see how he warms up to her.
I hope you read this book

This book was adorable. It has all the right elements for me in a feel-good, single parent contemporary romance. This is a story that shows that love and trust are slowly earned. I definitely recommend this story to readers wanting a story about a single mom, her cute daughter, and a romance with her next-door neighbor.

Definitely some drama.. she has an ex and he has a past he doesn’t want to tell her about that makes him think he’s not good enough for her.
