I’m biased because I am a Talia Hibbert stan til the day I leave earth!!!!
Look, it’s ~*~Talia Hibbert~*~ so expect tenderness, prickly characters, and lots of individual as well as relationship growth🫶🏽
You’ll find:
-M/M with grumpy x grumpy dynamic
(&they become such softies for each other😭)
-Age gap (~10 years)
-Small village/town
-Therapy & mental health rep (depression)
-Addiction, loss, & grief discussed
-Two humans who deserve love regardless of their “baggage” 🥰
I listened to the audiobook on Everand — both narrators (dual first-person, present-tense POV) were fantastic!
I had a wonderful time & will read anything TH writes!
steam rating: 4/5 — they’re so horny lmao🤭 I love them your honor !!!!

This is a mlm romance, which I didn't know because I only picked it up because I like this author, but the book was really pretty. I wanna say Griffin is in the autism spectrum, the same way the author is but I could definitely be wrong. I really liked the characters and how they engage with each other and their friends, and how they develop and come to their own realizations.

- Griff and Keynes are both learning that they deserve love and kindness even while still working through their past traumas.
- WORK FOR IT is a perfect "these dummies just need to say they love each other" book. It'll squeeze your heart until it pops, and you'll be wishing there were 200 more pages of it. Even if you don't read the preceding books in the Just for Him series, go for this one, it's worth it.
