Taking a break from my readathon on account of being hospitalized. Figured I'd give this a twirl while I'm recovering.

And uh.
Yeah.
It's just as bad as everyone says it is!

This isn't a story; it's a badly put-together lore bible interrupted by plot. At best. I don't need to preach to the choir; we've all seen the hours-long dissections on what makes Lightlark completely ass.
The one new thing I will add is:

  1. Hilarious that a book based on The Hunger Games treats all the commoners like disposable props
  2. The medical advice sucks in this book sucks ass. Don't put ice on a burn (especially an extensive one!), don't treat hypothermia with hot baths, and if someone is severely wounded, slapping them and yelling at them to get it together isn't gonna work. Trust me guys.

Three quarters of a star for being well-proofread and having a few cool concepts, I guess. But holy God.

Don't read this book. But if you must, only read this book while waiting to be discharged from the hospital and needing trash media to consume. This is the perfect garbage.

Varias cosas
