Holy is fighting her attraction to Braxx but he is not about to give up on his mate. Their story is a sweet romance. No matter what Braxx won’t give up on Holy and what they could have if she would let her guard down and let him in. Holy is hiding her pain and what she sees as more heartache. When everything else fails Braxx looks to his family and friends for help resulting in a wonderful read full of fun and love. Braxx is a good man that works hard to win over Holy and show her that they belong together and that he will support her no matter what. Their story moves at a good pace and kept me entertained all the way to the end. This is a nice addition to this series, and I loved seeing each fated couple find their way to happiness.

I felt like I got to know Braxx and Holly.

I thought that it would turn out that Addison had got her doctor to do something to prevent her being able to get pregnant... not what Alar did.

What's a determined Alien to do when he finds his mate but she won't entertain the idea? He uses his baby niece as Kryptonite! LOL

Braxx wants Holly but for the life of him he can't figure out what he has done to upset/anger/annoy her. His brother is married to her best friend, they both love little Clem. He is a good male, good with children and small animals. So what is wrong with him?

Holly knows it's unfair to tar Braxx with the same handsome as sin, grin that could met panties, brush as her ex fiancee. But one brush with a self serving playboy was more than enough. Being dumped for infertility issues that HE caused, well that's enough to out anyone off men! But Braxx is sweet, gentle, caring, loving and he might just wear her down eventually!

I loved that eventually Braxx wore down Holly's grade A defences and gave him a go. Sadly one little miscommunication by him, one little assumption by her and everythign could fall apart.

I loved gettign a ee reviist with the other Dakonians! Add in sweet little Anthony and baby Clemmie, and you got yourself a heartwarming, feel-good read! I really want a certain transparent anthopologist to get his own book, or at least appear in more! And the latest victim of the odious ex of Holly? She REALLY needs some alien hotness!

This was my favorite so far. I love a story about foster children and the system. Braxx was so endearing and sexy. Holly is the friend you always wanted. Super sweet. I highly recommend. Love the new aliens introduced. Love the cameos.

This book made me laugh the entire time! In a good way, because the characters were so real and honest with each other. There was so much confusion and wanting throughout this book, it gave me the impression of "Touch me, wait, no, don't touch me" between the hero and heroine. The hero was onboard, but the heroine needed some convincing. As always with this series, the hero is a hottie alien from outer space, looking for love so he can mate ("marry" in alien language) and have kits ("children"). It's always a riot when a Dakonian is in town.

Holly Hansen has been trying to dodge the seduction attempts of one Dakonian for a year now. He's persistent, kind, and good looking enough to make her wish her life was different. But he is definitely one who wants a family, and Holly just can't give that to him. Braxx knows Holly is his fated mate and has been trying to convince her. Nothing seems to be working, so he enlists the help of his friends who have human mates. They help Braxx and Holly spend more time together, and when that happens, sparks inevitably fly. Holly has a secret, however, and one that, should she share it, may mean losing Braxx forever.

Braxx was a sweetheart, albeit one who didn't quite understand the intricacies of human courtship. In his culture, there are fated mates, and it's assumed that once you find yours, you'll mate and live happily ever after. But try telling humans that! Holly was stubborn and didn't want to tell Braxx her secret. Which I could understand, but at the same time, it would have cleared up a lot of things early on. The book would have been ten pages and then it's all over. Braxx was so understanding of Holly's hesitation, he took cues from her and tried to keep things slow. But as in all the Dakonian series books, it's not long before they fall for each other - literally. This couple was one of my favorites in the series, by far.

I look forward to reading more in this Dakonian/Human world! Always entertaining and a quick read.
