The flying ***** was this one? I thought it was going to be a magnificent journey, a wonderful star-filled journey. In which our MC would grow and find happiness. But instead I got so much depressed stuff that.. well, it didn't work for me. There was so much negativity, so many angry tropes, the girl our Abelard loves/likes and wants to impress is constantly named, is it really the same girl?? Then Abelard even gets assaulted to the point that he is not Abelard anymore at times. And there is the ending, maybe if that at least turned out positive I would have rated the book higher, but no, even more depressing crap.
The art was interesting though. But this one is definitely one of the worst from my stack of books I got yesterday.

I find it annoying when humanized birds have the ambition to fly. Unless they are penguins.
