Another great book in this wonderful series. The Sullivan boys are all protective and thoughtful and when they fall they fall hard. This insta-love story sees Gabe falling for Megan and her daughter Summer. I am not sure if he falls in love with mother or daughter first but even though he fights it he can't escape. There are lots of emotions in this fun, light romance.

So far the three Sullivan boys have fallen in love with just one look. I guess is genetic and makes for no surprises at all. Love at first sight is okay but there should be a limit when writing about a whole family suffering from the same condition. I guess four hundred pages doesn't allow much development. Aside from this, I enjoyed this third installment better. Next is Sophie's turn but apparently she is already in love. Good, I am ready for a change. I do love family sagas and so I'm enjoying myself.

Gabe’s story is a wonderful new installment to the Sullivan family saga. Megan and her daughter fit right in with the Sullivan’s and Gabe’s love brings them all together. There is definitely undeniable heat between Gabe and Megan, often leaving you singed from their passion. I loved reading the emotional and heated meeting between them, but even more I loved seeing how the love they developed slowly brought them both out of living in their pasts and gave them a chance for the future they deserve together. I enjoyed seeing all the family, those who have already had their romances and getting glimpses of the next sibling to fall. I can’t wait to find out what’s happening with Sophie in particular. Bella Andre's done it again.

This one took me a little longer to get through, I’m not sure why. My mood slowed down, maybe.

Either way, this was a cute story, nonetheless.

Gabe is a firefighter, and he saves Megan and her daughter. There’s an attraction there, but Gabe fights it because he thinks it’s hero worship, and Megan fights it because he has a dangerous job.

I like the attraction between them, and I liked their progression to getting to know each other. Megan’s daughter plays a big part, and I really liked how Gabe wanted both of them, and how the daughter kind of pulled strings to put them together.

I’d never really thought so much about the danger of Gabe’s job, but Megan’s worries really made me aware of it. It’s definitely a bigger worry and courageous thing in my eyes now, though.

This book doesn’t stand out to me as much as some of the others, but I still enjoyed it. All of these are good books so far, and I am really looking forward to reading more.

I’m falling in love with Bella Andre more and more with every book. In book three of the Sullivans series we head to the city where Gabe Sullivan serves as a firefighter. He learned to not get involved with anyone he rescues but there’s just something about Megan and her daughter that he just can’t stay away from. Megan doesn’t want to open up her heart again to a man that lives such a dangerous job but his charm and charisma are too hard to fight against. These two both fight the inevitable but the heart doesn’t easily choose who it loves. Lovely contemporary romance with so much more to share with the rest of the family. Can’t wait to keep reading!

The third book to the Sullivans series is the story about a couple of people who are afraid to take chances. While Gabe, a firefighter, dealt with the dangers of his job on a regular basis, Megan spends her life afraid to take any risks: safe job, safe boyfriends. Ever since her husband died while serving as an air force pilot, she's taken painstaking means to protect her daughter and her heart from ever going through that fear and pain again.

Gabe on the other hand will never risk getting involved with someone whom he had rescued again. Burned by a former relationship with one, he couldn't stomach being a hero in their eyes only to be disappointed to find out he really is not. And as much as they can't deny how intense and immediate their attractions were, they have to weigh out the risk/reward of pursuing it. In the end though, would it be enough?

All right. So I didn't really enjoy this as much as I should have. There's something about the lack of chase that bothered me. And I'm a huge fan of this whole dynamic. I love reading about a man who'd been brought to his knees by the woman he'd been chasing. I think it was because they gave their fair share of chasing one another and that there wasn't much challenge on both sides. I also wasn't convince of each other's qualms and reservations as to why they shouldn't be together. I mean, I get their fears but I guess they weren't very convincing as to how deep their respective fears were and as such, I couldn't sympathize.

Regardless, though. I'm falling more and more in love with this series. Bella Andre's writing truly grew leaps from the first book, culminating to the third. Romantic scenes, sex that is sensual and not borderline pornographic is still the major allure of the book. On top of that is the ever present familial love between siblings that will have you looking forward to their stories.

I really don't like it when a hero or heroine in a book has a child when the book starts off. Mainly because I find not a lot of authors seem to be able to write them in in a way where they don't interfere with the romance or annoy the hell out of me. Thankfully, this story didn't do that. In fact, I liked Summer. There was just enough of her that she was endearing and not coming in between Gabe and Megan. Some of the scenes with her and Gabe were actually quite cute. That's when I know something is going to be good, when reservations of mine are never fed.

Now I adore firefighters as much as the next woman, but there was something about Gabe that made it so much sexier than normal. I don't know if it was the way he handled the dangers of his job or the way he believed in what he did or even the way that he was so laid back and didn't want to looked at as a hero. I was completely hooked by him and riveted to the pages. I couldn't get enough of him. He had a kind of shield up in the beginning, not wanting to grow attached to Megan and her daughter. But Summer was persistent and kept bringing the two of them together in goofy little ways. It wasn't long before Gabe realized there was something different about Megan. He then pursued it and through patience and careful planning, allowed it to grow into something so much more. I really like that he wasn't too much of a jerk. He kept his heart protected enough that I understood why, but yet it was open enough to accept that things weren't as he thought and he wasn't going to let his own stubbornness--or Megan's for that matter--get in the way of what he knew was meant to be.

And boy howdy, am I thankful for that. Once you get past all that tough firefighter exterior, there was such a romantic underneath. I think some guys might be able to take a few notes from Mr. Gabe Sullivan here. The most mundane things about Megan, he picked up and remembered for later on. He slowly seduced her into becoming the person she had always been afraid to be. Of course their all-consuming-hot-as-fire attraction definitely helped push things along. I actually got jealous of her at some points throughout the book, both from the scorching hot sex scenes to the incredibly sweet surprises Gabe laid out for her. Some girls just have it all, even if they are fictional.

Now I really wanted to liked Megan as much as I liked Gabe, but she seemed to be making too many excuses for my taste. could understand her reluctance in the beginning--well, especially in the beginning--to not want to take the risk of getting involved with someone like Gabe who had a dangerous job, but she took that same excuse and beat it to the point that there weren't even specks remaining of it. Again, after everything she had been through, I could get behind her reasons for trying to push Gabe away, but at some point it just got to be silly. Hot monkey sex. The man is great with kids. He clearly freaking wants you. But you're so hung up on what-ifs and fears of the past that you contradict yourself at every point? Maybe I shouldn't talk, cause I'll admit I've got some of those same issues myself, but if you're not willing to risk your heart, if you're not willing to risk getting hurt, you're never going to know how wonderful life can be. Thank god she came around.

I think this story was my favorite so far. There was too much about Gabe that made him impossible not to love.

Megan Harris is a woman who avoid risks. Since her first husband died in a plane crash, leaving her to raise their toddler daughter, she does what she can to ensure she and her daughter won't have to deal with that type of heartache again. Unfortunately, she can't control everything and she and her daughter are caught in a horrible apartment fire hiding in the bathtub.

Enter Gabe Sullivan, firefighter extraordinaire.

Gabe has always had a fascination with fire, so firefighting is the perfect fit for him. He never loses his cool in a fire, but when he rescued Megan and Summer during their apartment fire he was bound to break his rule of never dating a fire victim.

Megan and Gabe are perfect for each other, even if they fight their instant attraction for each other. Megan doesn't want to put hers and her daughter's hearts at risk on an adrenaline junkie who might not come home and Gabe doesn't want to be with someone who only sees him as her rescuer. But when the two of them stop fighting each other, they find that what they feel for each is much deeper and much stronger than anything they felt before.

Their road to happiness would have been much easier if Megan was able to let go of her past hurt earlier, but you can see how already losing one husband in a senseless accident would make one gun shy. The problem was, she wasn't really seeing past Gabe's job to the man who was responsible at work and would never purposefully jeopardize himself. Once she was able to do that, she was able to fully open herself to this wonderful man.

And ladies....Gabe is one hot man. For me, Gabe is now tied with Chase as the hottest Sullivan brother. He's funny, thoughtful, a fireman (hello!!) and sexy as hell. Who wouldn't love a man like that.

A fantastic story about two people burned in the past but learning that you can't paint everyone with the same broad brush stroke.

I'm sort of on a Bella Andre kick right now although I have no idea when I'll read book four. I've been really enjoying the series with the siblings with various jobs finding love with equally interesting heroines. While I was under-whelmed by the first book, I really loved the second book. This third one also hit a high note for me so I'm excited to keep going.

Gabe, the firefighter, rescues Megan and her daughter from a horrible apartment fire. After having been burned (see what I did there?) by a romance with a fire victim, Gabe wants nothing to do with Megan. Of course they have a magic connection and can't help but falling into bed with each other. As Megan fights being with a man with a dangerous job, Gabe wrestles with getting past his failed relationship.

I really liked Megan and Gabe as a couple. Gabe balanced out Megan's stiffness while Megan balanced out Gabe's negativity. They really worked plus Gabe spending time with Megan's daughter was adorable. Usually kids are sort of thrown out there as random plot points and not really integrated into the story. In this case she was but it was more about Gabe's relationship with her.

Unfortunately I did spend a lot of time wishing they would get on with it. The same issues came up again and again and, frankly, I struggled to continue caring about them. After a certain point it was like, "Seriously just stop screwing and have a conversation." Megan was so hung up on Gabe's job which understandably was dangerous. The issue was her hang-up because of her dead husband. He was goofing around and not taking it seriously but she's stuck on the fact Gabe could die because of his job. Anyone could die tomorrow and sure he has a higher chance due to taking risks but come on, he's awesome.

I had some issues over the book as a whole and how long it took to get from meeting to love. I felt it could have been faster or at least easier since the roadblocks seemed a bit unnecessary for the most part. The set-up for the fourth book was well integrated and I'm excited to read Sophie's story (librarian what?). Also hot pub owner. Seriously I'm excited.
