I wanted to like it since I've liked some of Regina Doman's other books but the protagonist made it hard for me to get into the book. I knew, less than 20% in, that if I finished the book it would only be for the sake of finishing something I started. As a soon-to-be grad student of Biblical Theology, I appreciated a book that I could relate to... only I couldn't relate to Cate too much. Good effort but not my cup of tea.

Not a book that I would read again...perhaps I am not the right demographic ;-) I found Cate not very likeable, not a quiet and feminine protagonist.

Don't understand enough about Thomas Aquinas to really *get* what they were talking about. My fault, not theirs. Not sure I like the combo of philosophy and chick lit. But I'm going through a spell where I haven't really liked many things I have read all that much, so perhaps it is just me. I do own the 2nd in the series. I will read it to see if it improves.
