I picked up this comic because I thought the cover looked cool. The artwork was unique and added to the sci fi / dystopian themes. The plot wasn’t original and some of the dialogue was cheesy. Since it’s only 5 issues I’m going to read the rest. This issue ended in a cliffhanger and I really want to know what’s going to happen next.

The art has its own charm and appeal that meshes well with the story. I like that it’s not overly realistic since the story is so very sci-fi.
The story, unfortunately, reads like something that I’ve read before, but in a generic way. To me, it felt like the Matrix meets Ready Player One.
I have a two issue policy that I try to go by, so it has one more issue to improve before I decide on rather or not to drop the title.
