Another great book in a fantastic series!
Lindsay still continues to annoy me a little with her trying to have some sort of ownership over everyone around her. 🙄 it's getting boring Linds, get over it!!!
Regardless, I was hooked from the beginning as always! The cases weren't as twisted as some of the other books which is good as I could have a done with a little less gore. But one of the cases in this book still hit pretty hard. One thing that gets to me with crime and thriller books is when children are involved! And this one, was really, really upsetting. Can't say much without giving it away but check trigger warnings if you'd like to read this. Maybe I should say, check the tw for this whole series because it is not for the faint hearted.
I have a few other books to catch up on so it might be a while until I continue this series! I might actually need some fluffy stuff now 😂
TW: Blood, death, death of parent, injury detail, murder, violence, abandonment, adult/minor relationship, body horror, child abuse, rape, incest, pedophilia, emotional abuse, gun violence, physical abuse, infidelity, kidnapping, pregnancy, sexual content, sexual assault, sexual harassment, sexual violence, stalking, torture, trafficking
