As always, reading these volumes has been a breeze due to nostalgia and pure love for these characters. I genuinely adore their dynamics together as one big team!

“Man, I hope we’re getting hazard pay for this...”

I’m still incredibly invested in following this storyline and enjoying every minute of it. The underlying mystery of Eggman is slowly unraveling and it’s satisfying!

I really love Whisper and how everyone on the team is so respectful and understanding of her desire for distance. Sonic respects her boundaries and it’s just great to see! A good way for younger readers to learn how people my be “weird” and different from you, but that doesn’t make them bad in any way. Could be a great teaching moment about boundaries if reading with kiddos!

The art in this series has also just been fantastic! I love the slight variations from artist to artist and it was worth reading just for that frame of Knuckles getting the Master Emerald back. I don’t want to put it here but when you see it, you’ll know. It made me laugh for five minutes. Genuinely.

This truly is full of the humor I missed having, from the art to the banter to the plot. I’m biased, but I truly do highly recommend this series. For old and new fans alike.

Still a fun read, I like the new characters introduced, and the art is great!! I do miss the archie series a lot, but these new characters are a great addition. These have a really fast pace and I feel like there's not a lot of proper build up for the villains yet.

Listen, this is a GOOD sonic arc, you hear. 10/10, the best one I’ve read so far from the IDW series (I’ve only read two volumes up until this point tho so)
