I had the honour of being a Beta reader for this story, and I loved it so much that I read it again when the ARC was sent.
Honestly, the 1st book in the South Bay Billionaires series was incredible, and I was curious to see if the authors could do it again.
Well.. they outdid themselves.
Van is a deliciously possessive, rich cinnamon roll. Cami's a kickass woman with dreams of growing her catering business that she built from the ground up.
The spice is so good. Even though their attraction is instantaneous, it takes a little while before we get there compared to the 1st book. This didn't bother me, as Cami and Van are a completely different couple with different personalities. It's only natural that their relationship would develop differently.
What I enjoyed the most is how real the interactions are, not only between the Cami and Van, but also with their friends and family. Even though we only see snippets of their friends, as they are sidecharacters, they are proper fleshed out characters that you can't help but love. While being supportive, their friends also call them out when needed, which makes the character growth of both mc and their relationship so much more believable.
If you're looking for a fluffy love story, with good spice and a smidge of angst: this is for you!
