Waking up in a strange place under guard by dragons, Seleska must once again decide who to trust. Is she being protected or imprisoned? And why is there another girl also claiming her dragon is the chosen one? There are more twists, more dangerous situations, and more excitement as the saga continues.

I received a free audiobook from the author and have reviewed it willingly.

Wow! Not what I expected after episode 3. So glad it’s picking up the excitement. What will our pair due next? Always stuck between keeping Nataasa safe and keeping herself alive the turmoil of being caught and judged by a league of dragons isn’t something take lightly.

Dragon Tide: Bubbles of Hope is book four in Sarah K.L. Wilson's series and this book takes readers deeper into the danger that lies ahead of Seleska, Nasataa, and Heron. The author ended the last book on a bit of a cliffhanger but does a wonderful job picking up where that book left off and continuing forward. This book has twists, surprises and full of danger.
I immediately dived into this book and quickly got lost in the world. The last book ended with Seleska seriously injured and Heron scrambling to get her help. Of course, with them basically underground/underwater I was curious as to how they were even going to find help, but they do and quickly. Too bad Heron takes things into his own hands...and gets a bit...aggressive. I was practically elated to be introduced to some unique new characters. I loved their backstory and honestly wish, like Seleska, that we could see their faces. Of course, you can imagine my surprise when I learn that quite a bit is going on while Seleska was recovering. I was practically on the edge of my seat for the second half of this story.
There isn't anything that I don't like about this book. There are a couple of "hiccups" with identifying the correct creature near the end. The author says "manticore" when it should have been "dragon." Other than that...I'm disappointed in the "blind faith" these new people put in a lie, but I get it. It's easier to believe the loudest voice that speaks first than to actually finish going through the tests. I honestly can't wait to read what happens next.
I am rating this story 5 out of 5 stars. Now, I do think that this one is shorter than the others...or I just devoured it in a blink, but it is really good, so just be forewarned. I love reading the development of Nasataa and the developing bond between him and Seleska. I can't wait to read what happens next. If you are enjoying the series so far then grab this addition and get to reading!
