Cole Moreton's book is a look at the state of the Church in England today. it is often irreverant but does on occasion stray into flippancy, to its detriment.
I have two main issues with it on the whole. The first is its equating of the Church of England as the Church in England. The nature of the Christian Church in the UK is broader than a single denomination.
The second is that it never quite deals with an issue fully enough, it is a little too superficial in its analysis.
As an introduction to some of the issues of faith in modern times though it works well.
