It was okay...
The reproduced images were clear and concise. However, they blocked in a lot of Latin in the introduction with the assumption that the reader is capable of understanding Latin. I checked at the back of the book to see if there was a translation, but there wasn't.
From what I could discern, the second large chunk of Latin was an important review of the manuscript, and yet the author did not attempt to unpack its meaning (only stated that it was important and no description was given).
Harsh criticism, but true. The manuscript reproductions were up to standard, but the description of the actual manuscript automatically assumed the reader was fluent in Latin...which is a bit of a deal-breaker...
