This is Book #1 in the 7 Stud Club series. A perfect combination of romance, fear of relationships, and how life can throw you a curve ball. Love how Boone thinks he can’t do relationships when his parents didn’t stay together for him to see it. I am sure he saw others in relationships that he could see like friends’ parents and friends. Gemma is messed up, too, in the relationship department with her dad taking off and her mother. Read more to find out about her mom. Two messed up people who figures out if they belong together or not.
I can not wait to read the rest of the series.

This is the 1st book in Christie's series 7 Stud club about a group of friends that get together and play poker, no girls allow. John Boone, strong yet silent with commitment issues because his mother left him and his father at a young age. Gemma Marquette, is the complete opposite. According to her mother and aunt the "Marquette woman are the marrying kind", so much so that between the two of the sisters and her deceased grandmother they have 10 marriages between them. But Gemma doesn't want to be like her mother, aunt and grandmother so she swears off men, that is until she meets her neighbor book and they can no longer deny their chemistry. Great writing, sex scenes and characters. I can not wait for the next book in the series.
