Amazing book! I love the twist with witches combined with mystery. I love how she denies she is a witch but everything she does literally points to the fact that she is. I hate that her grandpa was poisoned but I’m glad they found out who did it. I hated that her grandpas girlfriend was killed. I love how Birdie had a plan the entire time and how she literally turned the police cell into a vacation for herself. I loved Cinnamon and how she was there for her through everything.

I'm excited to have read this book and to read the whole series. The fast pace plot had me turning the pages quickly.

Too many oddball characters and several plot twists made it hard to decipher who was doing what and why. I don't think I will read any more in this series.

A cute series that is a nice easy read. Small town girl loving in the city comes home when grandparent takes ill...a similar storyline to other series however that does not take away from the book. I liked the story, I liked the different characters and reading their different stories. I liked the use of the humour and it had me laughing out loud at times. I liked the different characters and look forward to seeing what the different characters get up to next. x
