“Queer people anywhere are responsible for queer people everywhere” is the rallying cry of this short but powerful book. Highly recommend that folks within the queer community and allies of the community give this a read for definitive steps to take and think through as this battle continues to get tougher.

📖 The New Queer Conscience by Adam Eli Book Review 📖

“Queer people anywhere are responsible for queer people everywhere. After all, wouldn’t you want someone to fight for you?” - Adam Eli.

4th book of January 2022 and 4th of the year:

This was a re-read after being gifted the physical copy, and, once again, I loved it! The social commentary and discussions about what’s going on in the world, and the messages and themes of helping, uplifting, and fighting for and beside each other are so important and written out so well and so thoroughly, with the author giving exact steps as to how and why we should do these things and how none of us are free and safe until all of us are free and safe. The audiobook for it is also done beautifully. I easily gave it five stars again, highlighted/underlined everything, cried when reading it, and highly recommend that absolutely everyone pick it up! This is definitely a book that I will return to again and again. TWs for antisemitism, bullying, body shaming, death, hate crimes, gun violence, violence, homophobia, transphobia, murder, abuse, police brutality, racism, shootings, xenophobia, Islamophobia, and outing📚🎧💖🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
