All I can say is wow. I was totally engaged in the plot the whole time and at the end it was a shock but amazing read

This was my first Michael Palmer. I found Carrie very annoying at times (but that could have been the way the narrator talked), but all-in-all a good read.

Absolutely LOVED the ending (pre-Epilogue).
Although I love medical mysteries, documentaries, articles, etc, some of the medical information regarding the plot was lost on me at times.

Michael Palmer is one of my favorite authors and I was very sad when he passed away. I am happy that his son has been able to continue on with his work and keep his wonderful book alive.

Utterly brilliant; Daniel Palmer continues his father's legacy with an excellent voice and so much of the same skill and intrigue. Trauma has persuaded me to check out his other books, and I hope he continues to write medical thrillers for many many years to come. This was worth every penny and more, I'm only sorry it wasn't even longer!
